The National Park Service is asking for the public’s help as crews continue their search for a missing person last seen at Grand Canyon National Park.
Martha Overholser, was last seen at Mather Point on the South Rim on December 10, 2024. She later failed to return on a commercial bus tour. Overholser, 66, is believed to have walked west from the Mather Point area, possibly towards the Bright Angel Lodge or Hermits Rest, according to the park’s statement.
Overholser is described as a white female, 5’2” and 110 pounds with grey hair and blue eyes. She was last seen wearing a long off-white coat, a grey hooded sweatshirt, and navy-blue bag.

The missing person investigation is on-going and the park stated there is no further information available at this time.
